The short version: we collect your email address and whatever you choose to save in the product — your watchlist, your holdings, your written theses. We use it to run the product for you. We do not sell it, and we do not share it with advertisers. You can ask us to delete all of it and we will.
We do not ask for and do not want your brokerage credentials, your account numbers, or your government identification. Verdyt never connects to your brokerage. Holdings you enter are numbers you typed, not a live link to any account.
Data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Supabase, and the service runs on Render. Both operate in the United States, so if you are outside the US your data is transferred there. Access to personal data is restricted per user at the database level — one account cannot read another account's holdings, watchlist, or theses.
Only the infrastructure providers we need to run the service: Supabase (database and authentication) and Render (hosting). They process data on our behalf, not for their own purposes. We may also disclose data if legally required to do so.
When you request analysis of a company, the ticker is sent to our data and AI providers to produce the result. Your identity, your holdings, and your watchlist are not sent with it.
We use browser storage for two things: keeping you signed in, and remembering your interface preferences (such as your dashboard layout). We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
You can ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it entirely. You can delete individual holdings, watchlist entries, and theses yourself at any time inside the product. For full account deletion, or any other request, write to support@verdyt.com and we will act within 30 days.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA. We apply the above to everyone regardless of location.
We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data and the content you saved. Anonymous, aggregated market data — the ratings themselves, which are not about you — is retained.
Verdyt is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
If we change this policy materially, we will update the date above and notify account holders by email.
